Other Law Enforcement Issues Jail Medical Alert ! We all know there are serious problems with medical and mental health services in the Sonoma County jails, both the Main Adult Detention Facility (MADF) and the Honor Farm. The Purple Berets have been working on many fronts to correct these deadly medical conditions. One of those fronts is this: The jail's medical services are currently being evaluated by the California Medical Association to see if they will receive accreditation by the Institute for Medical Quality (IMQ). The jail lost this accreditation during its deadliest year in 1997/98, but is attempting to be reaccredited at this moment. The Institute for Medical Quality needs to hear directly from inmates and inmates' families about your personal experiences with jail medical and mental health services.
